Children enrolled in the Suzuki program for violin or piano have weekly private lessons. They also have a group class to practice common repertoire, learn music theory and improve their musicianship. The group class is an important part of the Suzuki program as it not only helps students learn to play with others, but it provides motivation to learn. It is not a group lesson that can be taken separately without private lessons.
